I have an enhanced DBS disclosure, and am a member of the European String Teachers Association.

Grade 8 Distinction (ABRSM)

Degree in Music -BA Hons Durham University 2.1

Certificate in Music Workshop Skills- Goldsmiths College.

​

Experience

I have taught over a hundred students the violin in my time, in various settings, and am constantly refining my approach and evolving as a teacher.

​

Artistically, my recent work has involved writing, recording and performing violin parts for my work as a singer-songwriter. I much enjoyed collaborating with Jote Osahn, violinist from the much celebrated band Elbow, for some of this work.
